David Travers

Mr. Travers is a partner of the firm and specializes in construction law and commercial dispute resolution. Since 2006, Mr. Travers’ practice has been focused near exclusively on the construction and development industries; addressing both the project facing and business issues that companies involved in the construction process face in the course of their work. These representations tend to focus on risk-avoidance through the contracting process and compliance and claim resolution work during the course of a project. When planning and negotiation are not enough, Mr. Travers represents clients through all phases and forms of dispute resolution including bid protests, mediations, arbitrations and trial. Mr. Travers has represented parties at all tiers of the construction industry, including material suppliers, subcontractors, general contractors, construction managers, developers, and owners. Outside of the construction industry Mr. Travers has represented distributors, manufacturers, restaurant owners, condominium associations, commercial landlords and tenants, and a variety of other business owners. Mr. Travers was selected as a New England Super Lawyer – Rising Star by his peers in each year from 2012 through 2021. He was also honored with the Massachusetts Lawyers’ Weekly ”Excellence in the Law“ award in 2014. Mr. Travers is a proud graduate of Suffolk University Law School and the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
