David L. Sargent

David Sargent is a trial lawyer with over 30 years of experience. His practice focuses primarily on tort defense in the areas of transportation, premises liability, employer liability, product liability and general liability. He has tried well over 100 jury trials to verdict. Although located in Dallas, he has a statewide practice with numerous lawsuits in adjoining states. Mr. Sargent graduated from Texas Tech University School of Law, Cum Laude, in 1981. Since then he has been a partner of several Dallas defense firms including Cowles & Thompson for 10 years, followed by Hermes Sargent Bates for 15 years. Since June 2016, he has been a partner at Sargent Law located in downtown Dallas, Texas. At Sargent Law, Mr. Sargent carries a mixed case load of transportation, premises, auto, general liability and non-subscriber cases. He continues to try cases to verdict in the North Texas area.
