David also has experience in drafting and prosecuting patents in a variety of technologies such as computer hardware and software, medical devices, oilfield equipment and associated software, and propulsion systems. David maintains an active pro bono practice, including matters involving immigration and asylum, landlord-tenant law, and veterans' benefits. Prior to starting his legal career, David worked as an engineer at L-3 Communications in Greenville, Texas, where he focused on cooling system designs for reconnaissance aircraft. David also worked as an engineer at Halliburton Drill Bits and Services in Conroe, TX, where he focused on drill bit component testing. While earning his undergraduate degree at Texas, David studied flight dynamics, aerodynamics, structural dynamics, flu d dynamics, and compressible fluid flow.
