About Danielle

Danielle Mashburn-Myrick practices in the areas of bankruptcy and creditors' rights and civil litigation. Her practice includes representing individuals and businesses in tort and other litigation. Ms. Mashburn-Myrick has represented creditors in individual and small business Chapter 11 cases. She has assisted her creditor clients in filing proofs of claim, in objecting to turnover motions and motions to extend the automatic stay to non-debtors. Ms. Mashburn-Myrick has prosecuted fraudulent transfer claims, defended malicious prosecution and abuse of process claims, and represented clients in business disputes. Before joining Phelps Dunbar Danielle clerked for the Hons. Margaret A. Mahoney and Henry A. Callaway in the Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Alabama. As a law clerk she worked on matters ranging from involuntary petitions, fraudulent transfers, and nondischargeability complaints, to claims priority, tax penalties and stay violations.
