Mr. Nelson practices bankruptcy, creditors’ rights, business and commercial litigation, banking and financial intuitions in the firm’s Springfield, Missouri office. He has represented secured and unsecured creditors and trustee’s under Chapters 7, 11, 12 and 13 of the Bankruptcy Code. His experience includes civil litigation to enforce promissory notes, security agreements, deeds of trust and personal guaranties, collection of loans guaranteed by the Small Business Administration, actions for repossession of personal property collateral, real estate foreclosures, loan workouts, restructuring and forbearance arrangements. Mr. Nelson is a former Chapter 7 and Chapter 12 bankruptcy trustee.
