About Craig
Craig M. Peters has been a trial attorney for over two decades. He litigates complex cases involving wrongful death as well as those with catastrophic injuries. Mr. Peters handles a wide range of types of negligence cases, including products liability. Often asked to co-counsel on cases at the time of trial that cover a broad range of disciplines, Mr. Peters has been recognized for his trial skills through invitations to membership in the American Board Of Trial Attorneys (ABOTA), the International Academy of Trial Lawyers (IATL), the American College of Trial Lawyers (ACTL), and the International Society of Barriesters (ISOB). He is a four-time finalist for the SFTLA Trial Lawyer of the Year, a finalist for Marin County Trial Lawyer of the Year and a finalist for the CAOC’s Consumer Attorney of the Year. Mr. Peters is listed as a Super Lawyer and has taught courses in Evidence, Trial Practice, Criminal Law and Constitutional Law. Prior to his current practice, Mr. Peters was a trial attorney representing victims of asbestos exposure throughout the State of California. He was also a criminal defense attorney for 13 years and went to trial on a full range of cases from misdemeanors to felonies. For the last three years of his criminal defense work, Mr. Peters was the Director of Training for the Office of the Public Defender in San Francisco. Currently, Mr. Peters sits on the Board of Directors for the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) and the American Association for Justice (AAJ), he is Co-Chair of the Coalition Against Human Trafficking for the International Academy of Trial Lawyers, and is a Vice President of the Consumer Attorneys of California.
