Cove Geary is a partner in the Litigation Practice Group, where he counsels clients with respect to a broad range of disputes. Cove represents and advises clients in connection with energy litigation; life, health, and disability insurance, and Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) litigation; aviation litigation; insurance coverage issues; commercial disputes; professional liability matters; and class action litigation. Cove leads the firm’s insurance coverage practice team. Prior to joining Jones Walker, Cove worked at a global public accounting firm. He served as a law clerk to US District Judge Peter Beer of the US District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana from 1984 to 1985. Among his many civic and charitable activities, Cove serves as general counsel of the Episcopal Diocese of Louisiana and has served on the boards of the Second Harvesters Food Bank of Greater New Orleans and Acadiana, the Louisiana Children's Museum, and the Louisiana Jazz Federation.
