Cory Itkin has established a reputation as one of the most aggressive and prepared trial lawyers in the country. His experience includes maritime accidents, trucking accidents, plant explosions, and other high-stakes personal injury cases. Mr. Itkin has won verdicts and settlements for clients in more than two dozen states. He also obtained favorable results in the high-profile litigation involving families who lost loved ones or workers who were injured in the BP Deepwater Horizon explosion in the Gulf of Mexico. Some of Mr. Itkin's best work has involved cases with the biggest challenges. Mr. Itkin has won jury verdicts in excess of $1 million in at least five cases in which the defendant made no offer to settle the case at the time of trial. All told, he has achieved settlements and verdicts of more than a million dollars in more than 50 cases nationally. And he has obtained several seven- and eight-figure settlements on the eve of trial. He has won record-setting verdicts in highly disputed liability cases, and he won the largest Texas verdict in a helicopter accident case in recent years. Mr. Itkin earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Texas at Austin and went on to earn his law degree from the University of Houston Law Center, graduating cum laude in the top 10% of his class.Mr. Itkin has been recognized as one of the Top 100 Trial Lawyers in Texas by the American Trial Lawyers Association. He has been named to the Super Lawyers Texas Rising Stars list of young lawyers from 2010 to 2016.
