Colleen D. O'Connell

COLLEEN D. O’CONNELL is a partner with the law firm of Barradale, O’Connell, Newkirk and Dwyer, P.A. in Bedford where she focuses her practice in estate planning, trust and estate administration, and federal taxation. Colleen is a member of the New Hampshire Bar Association, the Massachusetts Bar Association, the Nashua Bar Association (President-2006), the New Hampshire Estate Planning Council ( President-2011), National Association of Estate Planners & Councils Accredited Estate Planner® (AEP®) Committee (past member), the Merrimack Valley Estate Planning Council and is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel. She is a past Chair of the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation –Nashua Region Advisory Board. Colleen earned her B.A. degree from the University of New Hampshire, her J.D. from Suffolk University Law School and her L.L.M. in taxation from Boston University Law School. She is a member of the New Hampshire Bar Association’s Elder Law, Estate Planning & Probate Law Section and the Taxation Law Section [past chair], and is a frequent speaker on basic and sophisticated estate planning, business succession planning, charitable planning, probate and taxation topics.
