About Bernard
Bernard J. ”Ben“ DiMuro is a former president of the Virginia State Bar and is widely known for his expertise in legal ethics, legal malpractice, and business and employment litigation. His litigation skills, courtroom experience, and knowledge of federal court procedures make him highly sought after by corporations and individuals who find themselves in the midst of complex civil litigation. DiMuro is also qualified as an expert witness in various courts in the arena of business and professional ethics, as well as professional responsibility. Including his term as president of the Virginia State Bar, his lengthy service to the bar includes chairing the Task Force on Public Access to the Disciplinary System, serving on the Special Committee to Study the Code of Professional Responsibility, serving as a faculty member on the bar’s course on professionalism, and serving on the bar’s Task Force on Corporate Counsel. Among his many accomplishments, DiMuro lists his pride in the DiMuroGinsberg law firm, which has been an active member of the Alexandria legal community for the last 25 years, his support and participation in the Special Olympics of Virginia, and his induction to the Fellows of the American Bar Association and the Virginia Law Foundation. He is also one of the current delegates to the American Bar Association.
