Ben Martin has dedicated his career to helping individuals and families whose lives have been shattered by catastrophic injury and wrongful death. He has represented thousands of clients, from people injured in the oilfield to those harmed by medical negligence and dangerous products, including defective machinery, medical devices and pharmaceuticals. He has tried numerous cases to verdict in Texas, Mississippi, Wisconsin, California and Arkansas and has represented people in all 50 states. A national leader in IVC filter complication litigation, Ben is co-lead counsel in Cook IVC filter MDL 2570, Southern District of Indiana, co-lead counsel in the Philadelphia Rex Argon IVC filter JCCP and serves on the plaintiffs’ steering committees in the national Cook, Bard, and Cordis MDL’s and the Philadelphia Pa. Rex Argon JCCP as well as the plaintiff steering committee for the Exactech MDL sitting in the Eastern District of New York. Ben has extensive experience in both state and federal pharmaceutical litigation, representing those harmed by the drugs fen-phen, Vioxx, Risperdal, Xarelto, Zofran and many others, as well as medical devices such as transvaginal mesh, medical staplers, IVC filters, and defective hip and knee implants. Ben is an Advocate member of the American Board of Trial Advocates and has served as president of its Dallas Chapter.
