An employment lawyer in Concord with a human resources background

Anne E. Jenness practices with Gallagher, Callahan & Gartrell in Concord and works in the firm's litigation and corporate departments, with a focus on employment law and workplace investigations. Her profile lists a professional background in human resources management and equal employment opportunity before her legal career, a certificate from the Association of Workplace Investigators, and a Professional in Human Resources certificate. She is admitted in the state and federal courts of New Hampshire, graduated with honors from the University of Iowa College of Law, and began her legal career as a public defender. In our editorial view, the investigations work is what stands out. A lawyer who has run workplace investigations understands what a complaint looks like from the inside, which matters whether you are the employee raising it or the organization responding to it. Her profile describes work for employers across health care, banking, schools and nonprofits, and advice to employees on employment agreements, separation agreements and non-competes. Someone looking for this kind of help is typically a New Hampshire employee weighing a severance or non-compete, or an organization facing a harassment or discrimination complaint.
