About Anisha
Anisha Queen joined Brown Goldstein & Levy in January 2019. Since joining the firm, she has represented clients in a wide array of civil matters. She has experience representing clients in cases involving employment law, housing discrimination, disability rights, civil rights, wrongful convictions, Title IX, and contract disputes. She has also represented clients in criminal matters, including those involving second-degree assault, weapons possession, and wire fraud. Prior to joining the firm, Anisha clerked for the Honorable Tanya S. Chutkan on the United States District Court for the District of Columbia. Prior to her clerkship, Anisha worked as an associate at Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, where she represented clients in a wide array of criminal and civil matters, including contract disputes, cases involving antitrust violations, cases involving the False Claims Act, and cases involving state criminal charges. During law school, Anisha interned at the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights and Gebhardt & Associates, LLP, a plaintiff-side employment discrimination law firm. She also served as the managing editor of the Harvard Journal on Racial and Ethnic Justice and as a research assistant for the Charles Hamilton Houston Institute for Race and Justice, an institute dedicated to addressing racial inequalities in the United States.
