About Andrew
Andy Kever’s practice has focused on regulatory, legislative and corporate matters, primarily representing clients in the electric and communication industries. With over 40 years of extensive experience in regulatory, legislative and corporate matters, he has represented a variety of competitive electric and telecommunication interests as well as large regulated electric utilities, both investor owned and municipally owned. He represents clients before the courts, state and federal regulatory bodies, state legislatures, Congress and local governments. Andy has been board certified in Administrative Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization since that specialization was first recognized. Before helping found ENOCH KEVER, Andy was a shareholder in two other regional law firms, serving as managing partner of one and as head of the public law and alternative energy practices of the other. He served five years as senior vice president, general counsel and secretary of a facilities-based broadband communications corporation. Before entering private practice in Austin, Andy held senior positions in the Office of the Governor of Texas and the Office of the Attorney General of Texas after serving as counsel to a member of the Texas Senate.
