Allison is a member of the firm’s Trial Section, and her practice focuses on general commercial litigation and appellate work. Allison has experience analyzing and researching legal issues, as well as drafting pleadings, motions, and written discovery at the trial level. Allison draws on her experience as an appellate clerk to help prepare for appellate oral argument and draft appellate briefs, including assisting in drafting an amicus brief submitted to the United States Supreme Court. Prior to joining Moye White, Allison spent two years clerking for Chief Judge Steven Bernard of the Colorado Court of Appeals. While there, she reviewed briefs, performed legal research, and wrote and edited draft opinions. Additionally, Allison interned at the Colorado Supreme Court for then-Justice Allison Eid (now Judge Eid of the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit). Allison also externed for Judge David Goldberg of Denver District Court, meaning that she has experience working in each level of the Colorado state court system. In her spare time, Allison enjoys playing ultimate frisbee, hiking 14ers, and alpine skiing in her native Colorado.
