Alison B. Jones

Alison Jones is a partner within the firm's Real Estate Finance & Investment Group. Alison focuses her practice on the representation of a broad range of real estate investors and participants, including developers, REITS, private funds as well as institutional funds and life companies. Her clients are engaged in developments, acquisitions and joint ventures across the United States and involving various product types. . She also has significant experience on multisite, multijurisdictional portfolio transactions, including her role as lead real estate counsel on the six million acre transaction often described as the ”largest land sale since the Louisiana Purchase.“ Alison has been included as a ”Rising Star“ in Super Lawyers magazine. She is a member of the Atlanta Bar Association and the Real Property Section of the State Bar of Georgia. She is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, Commercial Real Estate Women of Atlanta and the National Association of Women Lawyers. Alison is the co-leader of the firm’s Women’s Initiative. Alison is an active community volunteer with several women and children’s groups. She is currently serving as board chair of the Atlanta Children’s Shelter, and she is also a member of the board of trustees for the Georgia State University Foundation.
