Focusing on high-value real estate projects, Aaron Hyatt has played an influential role in Denver’s development—from the Saint Paul Collection and 260 North in Cherry Creek, to the Ralph L. Carr Colorado Judicial Center and History Center Colorado in downtown Denver. His work covers the lifecycle of complex and high-profile real estate transactions: acquisition, due diligence, financing, development, leasing and disposition of real estate across the asset class, including apartment, office, industrial, hotel, retail, casino and mixed-use. Aaron is a trusted advisor serving as outside general counsel to a number of clients with large and diverse real estate portfolios. Making it a priority to understand all the unique legal and business challenges facing his clients, he navigates each phase of sophisticated development projects. Aaron’s commitment to shaping Denver extends beyond his professional work. Respected and admired for his extensive community service, he is the chair of the board of directors of Mental Health Colorado and is the incoming chair of the board of directors of Jewish Family Service of Colorado. In 2019, JFS recognized Aaron’s exemplary leadership, philanthropy and dedication with its Yana Vishnitsky Leadership Award. He has served as chair of Brownstein’s Real Estate Department and Summer Associate Committee and as the firm’s real estate counsel.
