Terry leverages real-world understanding of real estate development and management to counsel clients developing medical centers and multifamily and senior living facilities. Terry draws on a lifetime of real estate development and management experience to help clients develop tailored, sophisticated legal solutions to meet their business needs. Terry guides clients through every phase of a development project, from the first look at the ground through due diligence, acquisition, ownership structuring, financing, entitlements, development, management, and disposition. His four decades of experience also includes development of large-scale commercial and business parks and medical campuses. Municipal and county governments have relied on Terry to serve as special counsel on complex land use planning and enforcement matters. Terry also advises clients on the process, strategy, and tax credit structures involved in preserving and adaptively reusing historic structures throughout Colorado. Before joining Holland & Hart, Terry was a name principal in two prominent real estate and finance firms in Denver.
