About Russell

Russell J. McEwan brings a mature business sense and legal acumen to labor and employment-related issues faced by clients in a variety of industries, including retail, construction, manufacturing, service, hospitality, and transportation. He has represented clients in federal and state court litigation, at the bargaining table, before arbitrators, and before workplace regulatory agencies, including the National Labor Relations Board. His practice also includes pro-active counseling to avoid litigation, designing employment agreements and policies, and training supervisory employees on a variety of workplace issues. He has also achieved excellent results for construction industry employers in matters involving pre-hire agreements and project labor agreements, prevailing wages, and issues related to government contracting. Prior to receiving his juris doctorate, Russell was employed by a commercial bank in New York City as a business banker and in the general counsel’s office of a major accounting firm.
