About Robert
Bob Singer has more than 40 years of experience representing financial institutions and public companies on key legal issues, and is widely recognized as a leader in banking and finance law. He also focuses his practice in mergers and acquisitions, securities, corporate finance law and family offices. He spends the majority of his time representing financial institutions on a myriad of corporate, regulatory and operational issues. He also advises clients on strategic and related initiatives. Bob has extensive experience in the negotiation and closing of large commercial loans. Additionally, Bob serves as counsel for the North Carolina Bankers Association. Another facet of his practice, Bob has served as the primary attorney or review partner on more than 120 mergers and acquisitions. He represents financial institutions and public companies, and uses his more than 40 years of experience in banking and corporate law to counsel clients on various types of financing transactions Since 2000, Bob has served as counsel to issuers and underwriters in public securities offerings in excess of $1.4 billion, and has been involved in more than 50 public offerings as primary attorney or as the firm’s securities review partner. Bob counsels numerous publicly traded corporations on securities issues, and advises the firm’s litigation practice in securities and shareholder derivative actions.
