About Kelsey

Kelsey advises clients in the energy and resources industry on a variety of project development and finance matters. She works with clients throughout the industry and specializes in the renewable energy space. Kelsey utilizes her past experience working in-house for an international renewable energy company to skillfully guide clients through deals at any phase of their project. She advises project developers on matters from site acquisition through procurement, offtake, construction, financing, and acquisition or divestiture. In addition to representing developers, Kelsey also negotiates virtual power purchase agreements (VPPAs) on behalf of corporate buyers and traditional physical power purchase agreements on behalf of municipal utilities, electric cooperatives, and electric associations. Before joining Holland & Hart, Kelsey served as counsel for Renewable Energy Systems Americas Inc. and practiced corporate law at an Am Law 100 firm.
