Gabriel leads the Sports and Entertainment Immigration practice group at BAL. As an experienced attorney who has worked in multiple aspects of immigration law, including business, family, and removal defense, Gabriel offers his clients both skilled legal advice and exceptional service. Gabriel focuses his practice on business immigration, specifically in the Sports and Entertainment sectors, working with companies of all sizes to help bring in and retain athletes, artists, coaches, and workers through both nonimmigrant and immigrant visa petitions. Gabriel began his legal career with the U.S. Department of Justice through the Attorney General’s Honors Attorney program, where he served as an Attorney Advisor to the Los Angeles Immigration Court. Subsequently, Gabriel was the Directing Attorney for Immigration and Refugee Services at Catholic Charities of Los Angeles, where he helped families in the Los Angeles community navigate the U.S. immigration system. Since then, Gabriel has practiced business immigration law, representing companies of all sizes, from Fortune 500 to local small businesses, before U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. Additionally, he has aided professional sports teams in the NBA, WNBA, and NHL acquire visas for foreign-based players. Gabriel is proficient in Spanish and enjoys giving back to the community. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Boys and Girls Club of Burbank and the Greater East Valley.
