Attorney Gregory K. Markham, has been practicing law in Hawaii for nearly 30 years. With a focus on insurance defense and other business and commercial litigation, Mr. Markham is a prominent member of the Chee Markham & Feldman practice. Martindale-Hubbell, the national directory of attorneys, has recognized Mr. Markham with an AV Preeminent rating for possessing the highest possible standards of professionalism and ethics in the legal community. After graduating cum laude from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 1979 with a Bachelor of Arts degree, Mr. Markham earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Colorado Law School in 1983. Since then, Mr. Markham has been admitted to practice in Hawaii, the U.S District Court for the District of Hawaii, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and the U.S. Supreme Court. Mr. Markham is an active member in a number of legal associations, including the Hawaii State Bar Association (Vice President), the American Bar Association, Hawaii Super Lawyers and Outstanding Lawyers of America. Mr. Markham is a lecturer at Kapiolani Community College in the area of torts, interviewing, negotiation and advocacy and a lecturer at the University of Hawaii, West Oahu in the area of Risk Management and Insurance. Mr. Markham sits as current President to the Board of the Hawaii Justice Foundation and is a commissioner on the Access to Justice Commission. He has significant civil litigation experience in a wide variety of practice areas, including coverage analysis, personal injury, property damage, subroation, products liability and construction law disputes.
