Cot Eversole is a corporate partner in the Chicago office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Cot represents issuers and sponsors in connection with all types of public and private capital markets transactions, including initial public offerings, secondary offerings, block trades, and high-yield and investment grade debt offerings. He also represents clients regarding a broad range of general corporate and securities laws matters, including corporate governance, disclosure issues, periodic reporting, stock exchange listing requirements and stockholder activism. Additionally, Cot has experience representing private equity sponsors and other companies in mergers and acquisitions, recapitalizations and restructurings.
