About Corey

Corey Bauer practices in the firm’s litigation practice group in the substantive areas of Business Litigation, Intellectual Property Litigation, Cybersecurity and Data Breach Response and Litigation, Trade Secret and Employee Defection (DTSALaw®), and UAS/Drone Litigation and Investigations. He manages litigation teams handling complex disputes for the firm’s clients in state and federal courts. He has first and second-chair trial experience, first chair arbitration experience, has presented numerous oral arguments before trial and appellate courts, and has taken and defended close to 100 depositions. Corey also has unique experience handling sophisticated matters involving UAS/UAV (drone) technology. He has represented individuals and corporations in regulatory compliance matters, FAA investigations, and criminal actions. He successfully defended an individual in a UAS-related, felony ecoterrorism jury trial in Pennsylvania as solo trial counsel. He has spoken and published articles on the subject of UAS technology in the judicial system on both a state and national level. In addition to the above, he has amassed a large amount of experience in assisting companies and municipalities in cybersecurity and data privacy response and litigation. He has handled breach responses, social engineering fraud litigation and investigations, and regulatory/statutory compliance matters. He has been published on the topic of cybersecurity threats to IP rights in national publications and periodicals. In his personal time, Corey is an avid outdoorsman. He is a member of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation which aims to enhance conservation efforts across the nation through the reinstitution of wild elk habitat. You can often find him fly fishing, hiking, or skiing in his spare time.
