About Caroline

Caroline Mitchell’s family law practice encompasses premarital agreements, separation agreements, equitable distribution, spousal support, child support, child custody, alienation of affection, criminal conversation, and appeals. She is certified by the North Carolina State Bar Board of Legal Specialization as a Family Law Specialist. A 2019 graduate of the Mecklenburg County Bar Leadership Institute, Caroline serves on the Mecklenburg Bar Foundation’s Board of Directors and is the Vice Chair of the Mecklenburg County Bar’s Family Law Section. She was recently admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States. Caroline earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Rhetoric and Communication Studies from the University of Richmond, and she earned her Juris Doctor from Wake Forest University School of Law. While in law school, Caroline received honors in advanced family law, trial practice, appellate advocacy and the appellate clinic.
